Bio: Cya grew up lying. She transformed her lies into grand stories about nothing, never thinking she could be a writer. Through amazing, literary friends' encouragements, she tried to put her grand stories onto paper and found that it is much harder than they made it seem. Her love of odd, impossible stories led her to the realms of fantasy and sci-fi which are her favorite genres. Now, she hopes to eventually finish a novel, and writes on this blog to find others to agonize with on her journey to become a 'real writer.' (Right) Plutark began reading at the ripe old age of 3. Guided by a family of writers and book-lovers, she couldn't help but absorb much of their love and knowledge of writing. She delved into an array of genres, styles, and time periods and quickly developed a love for the classics and the technical aspects of writing. Her favorite authors are Charles Dickens, Jules Verne, Mark Twain, and Emily Dickinson. Her favorite novels include: How the Soldier Repairs the Gramophone, Bleak House, The Sparrow, and The White Album. She enjoys novels from all genres, but loves classic literature, sci-fi, and fantasy. (Left)
